We are pleased to announce that Faulkners have been awarded MCS Accreditation for both Solar and Air/Ground Source Heat Pumps.

We are pleased to announce that Faulkners have been awarded MCS Accreditation for both Solar and Air/Ground Source Heat Pumps.

Having installed numerous Air and Ground Source heat pumps and solar powered heating systems during 2008 and 2009 for public sector, private sector and new build development clients, the company applied for MCS accreditation in June 2010 through the NICEIC accreditation scheme.  Final accreditation was awarded 22nd July 2010.

Faulkners are one of only a few domestic central heating and plumbing contractors in the region to attain MCS accreditation (Registration No. NIC1223) and we are pleased to be able to offer this additional service to new and existing clients and customers.

We realised a few years ago that the emerging renewables market would be the only way forward for our industry.  Climate change and government targets have meant that the market would have to change quickly. Whilst there will in the medium term future be a market for more traditional energy systems such as gas, oil and solid fuel, renewables are here to stay. The introduction of the MCS has helped to give our clients and customers further confidence in our abilities, this is particularly crucial when dealing with the new technologies within the renewables market.  Having such a robust set of criteria on which companies are evaluated will help to keep the pricing realistic and quality levels high and provide the professionalism this new market requires to help it survive.
