On Thursday 10th March 2011, the government released further details regarding the Renewable Heat Incentive for both domestic and non-domestic installations.

The Department of Energy & Climate change confirmed its committment to incentivising the installation of Renewable Heating technologies by announcing the launch of a two phase structure. 

Phase 1, commencing in July of this year introduces RHI tariff payments for non-domestic renewable heat installations together with the launch of a grant system for domestic installations.

Phase 2, commencing in October 2012, will see the introduction of RHI tariff payments for domestic renewable heat installations.
